HoloPrint is the most cost-effective and reliable system for printing of holograms, and it’s brand-new.

Holograms are one of the most commonly used security features used on banknotes, tickets and branded goods.  In spite of the high cost and complex process required, holograms serve to make the items stand out visually, authenticate them as the genuine article and at the same time providing a powerful hurdle to counterfeiting.

With HoloPrint, it becomes economically and technically feasible to use the holographic color palette on a much wider range of items than before.  We have achieved this by eliminating two crucial limitations that apply to yesterday’s techniques:

1. HoloPrint mastering and pre-press technologies are fast and cost-effective
2. High volume production happens directly onto any web-fed substrate (including paper) in just one pass, eliminating the use of time-consuming off-line processing.

There are many other advantages to HoloPrint over traditional methods of adding holograms to printed material.  Here are some ofthe key ones:

1: Complete in-house control

HoloPrint cuts away the entire supply chain involved in holographic foil production applications. These include production of base foil and coatings, conventional holographic embossing, metalizing, adhesive and slitting, and of course the paperwork, management and logistic planning.

As you also need no foil material in stock, you are completely in control of the production planning.

2: Fast in-line and in-register printing

HoloPrint typically prints at a speed of 50 m/min, in–line and in-register just as effortlessly as methods such as flexo print.

3: Specific image in a specific location

You can place a high quality holographic image at any location in the print.

4: Not limited by standard foil designs

With HoloPrint, you print your own holograms.  As part of this, you are in control of the holographic design and layout and you are no longer restricted to traditional foil patch designs.

5: Substantially lower cost

HoloPrint makes holographic printing cost effective by allowing you to print directly on your material of choice, without depending on foils produced by sub-contractors and separate out-of-band embossing steps.

6: No foil involved

Traditional holographic foil and design often reduce total machine speed and registering the holographic foil patterns on a print job is a tedious and waste producing task. HoloPrint completely eliminates both of these issues.

7: Sustainable and environmentally friendly

HoloPrint eliminates the waste associated with heat or cold transfer foils as well as vacuum metalized foils. All of the lacquers and inks used in the HoloPrint process have been developed to have the lowest possible Draize value, thereby minimizing the health hazards.

9: Shorter lead-times

With everything done in-house, you can turn around both trial and production runs faster than anyone else: you can be “on air” as fast as you can define and produce a flexo plate!

We have developed a full packaged solution for you to be able to manage all jobs with ease and confidence. This is complemented by a wide range of holographic PrePress print plates that can be used for demonstration, trials and custom-designed jobs alike.
