Unique optical – TEM (move)

The imprinter includes Stensborg’s patented optical engine which provides for long life (395nm) light-emitting diodes (LED) with passive cooling, as well as an optional built-in water cooling feature for extreme exposure demands.

We utilise light-emitting diodes in our Optical Engine for the production of higher volumes. This replaced gas discharge tube light engines. The Optical Engine is an essential part of the Desktop R2P NanoImprinter, as it provides the highly focused photonic energy needed to create a fast chemical reaction in our light-curable resins, changing the polymer state from elastic to plastic.
