From the 27th to the 30th of April, Stensborg was proud to once again join the EPIC AGM & Summit 2026 in Juan-les-Pins, France, a key gathering for CEOs, CTOs, researchers, investors, and technology leaders shaping the future of the global photonics industry. The conference brought together stakeholders from across the optical manufacturing, semiconductor, advanced materials, and photonics ecosystems to discuss industrialisation, scalable production technologies, and next-generation applications in optics, AR/VR, waveguides, sensing, and advanced photonic devices.
During the event, our CEO & Founder, Jan Stensborg, and Commercial Director, Leonor Mariano, showcased Stensborg’s scalable rolling nanoimprint lithography solutions. With our desktop roll-to-plate nanoimprint unit on display, industry partners, researchers, and manufacturers gained first-hand insight into Stensborg’s patented optical-engine nip technology and how it enables the transition from laboratory validation to industrial-scale nanoimprint manufacturing.
From casual conversations to in-depth technical discussions, the summit provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen collaborations with research organisations, photonics manufacturers, and industrial partners exploring how high-throughput nanoreplication equipment can support growing photonics applications (optics, optoelectronics, microfluidics, functional surfaces, energy technologies, and advanced electronics).
